The psn i wanted was chay but when i went to type it in. the system said i couldnt make it ?? Ok WTF no one else has the psn name i checked theirs no swearing in the psn name :p yet sony wont let me the owner of my ps3 make the psn i want i tried some other psn names because i was curious about what other names you couldnt make Asshole LOL yes ik.
I couldnt make that 2 either ik it has a swear word in it but why does sony limit our psn names ? We bout the ps3 so there for we should be able to make any psn name we wish that has not been taken already of course

if u often play with germans, choose kotringal or kotmuffn... i promise u they would laugh sou much

You payed for the PS3, that doesn't mean you can have any name you want. They have rules for a reason.

Well only problem with year point their is i chose my psn not sony
Look at my sig you should see my psn the 1 i chose :p end rant.

Because PSN is being used for alot of services apart from gaming.
As a result the pool of names is limited due to being used across a wide range of things.

Sony would have to make it work like xbox live and free up certain user names after a period of time. However that would mean a complete change in how the database is handled.
Almost all services have characters limits or block what ones you can use. Like you can't use a space on PSN.

Its YOUR PS3 but not your network.
