Post: questions about bricked ps3s

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); when a ps3 gets bricked, what does it affect? is it only the hdd or does it stuff up other things in your ps3 as well, also could someone help me out by telling me what i do when i report me thread? theres a button to report a post but i cant find one for an answered thread

Pretty sure it's the NAND or the NOR flash that gets screwed. Whichever type your system has.

damn... thanks man i was almost gonna go and buy a new hdd instead of a new ps3

nah. don't buy a new hdd. I mean you can buy one to upgrade your new ps3 but you're pretty much gonna need to get a new ps3 unless you can get it fixed by sending it in to sony or some shit.
