Post: PS3 Overheating?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My 3.55 ps3 has recently been getting really loud in terms of the fan spinning. It starts off normal, then gradually gets louder until about 15min later it sound like a vacuum. Ive took it apart, cleaned it out, put new thermal paste on. I don't know whats wrong... Any help?

i had this same problem before, it was a fat ps3. eventually sold it because of the overheating problem.

well if you have it in a confined space, you should put it in an open area. If you keep it in a small, confined space its going to overheat faster.
