the downs is how YOUTUBE is so shity

Lets start off with the cons then I'll switch over to the pros

CONS:
Not the best servers around (but you are not paying for better servers!)
Hackers that try to sell you hacks that you can get for free
crappy youtube app but I blame the people who made it
Can YOLD (but can be temporarily fixed easily)
new models no longer have the spinning Playstation Logo

Pros:
Free online servers
Psn plus which is 60 bucks a year gives you free games, avatars,themes, etc. monthly.
chargeable controllers
great selection of exclusives (Infamous, Uncharted Drakes Fortune, Killzone, etc.)
Blu Ray player
internet browser (its decent for a console)
pretty good customer support
Great homebrew dev teams on ps3 (although it leads to kids hosting cod lobbies like crazy -__-*)
easy to swap hard drives
Great community of people (but only if your friendly to them and/or funny)
really good media support and works as a good "dj" for parties (you could also use it for a slide show)

Well, to sum it all up, I don't really like it. I find myself on my PC more. I only really like using my PS3 for Netflix now.

Cons:

• Buggy online (I blame it on the new Store).
  
• Slow Store.
  
• YouTube app and web browser sucks balls.
  
• Annoying Singstar icon on XMB.
  

Pros:

• Awesome exclusives and 3rd party titles.
  
• Custom theme support.
  
• No adverts.
  
• Over £200's worth of free content every year with PlayStation Plus.
