oh yeah I know that it has to be FAT32. So ill reformat it to that with the program i have. Oh alright does the portable ones last as long as the ones that come with a power supply? I've only bought external HDD with a power supply so I'm not familiar with portable ones.

Yeah thats what im gonna end up doing anyways. you have any suggestions? getting a portable one or one with a power supply?
