1:Fit a Fan Controller.

2:Now the method of these controllers is to alter the input of voltage to the ps3 fan. The fan is 12V, but the PS3 temp controller adds extra voltage into the fan up to 17Volts) to elimate heat in the console.

3:Why will this help? I cant really say because im not to up to date with these Fans.

4:But what i do know is if your playing long hours on your ps3 buy one of these fans they'l help you big time.

4lease Note these Fans are louder than your standard one.

5:Why change something that has been made a certain way? well the main course of YLOD is heat, and after repairing many consoles and looking online for countless hours the reason for these YLOD and repeat YLOD is all to do with the fans, and temperature sensors on the ps3's mainboard failing. By overiding these functions you don't give the ps3 control and therefore it can't fail you.
