So i got the new HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition PLUS with the Optical input.

So what i want is to record game chat as well with my Turtle Beach PX5, which has an Optical input and Output.

So the way i wanted to set this up is:

1. Put one optical from the PS3 output to the Turtle Beach Input
2. Put one Optical from the Turtle Beach Output to the HD PVR 2 GE Plus Input
3. Set my sound settings to Optical Digital, and turn on the multiple sound inputs.

But this is not working for me.

I'am on a MAC so i am using the software HDPVR Capture and their i got the Settings to:
Video input:
Component (HD)
and
Audio Input
S/PDIF Digital (the optical input)

Should this even work? To record game chat? I mean i can record my own voice trough the computer, VLC should have Zero Delay passthrough (although it has not for now, but that might just be my computer) so this would sync up nice. But i want to record my friends voices as well.

Can some one try and help me out with this?
