So I've had my PS3 near enough since first day of release date, I've got the Original fat 60GB, Obvcourse..It's not the one i've had from day 1, No it's my 7th PS3 so anyways, I have an unlimited warranty policy(Not available anymore) that i've been paying since 2008, and in all fairness I have had my moneys worth and more, So recently my PS3 has been playing up and crashing and freezing and Overheating and shutting down after an hour of being on, which isn't normal for any electrical product really, The playstation 3 i've got at the moment is the longest one i've had so far and it has lasted just under 2 years and still going, So I rang up PSN Tech Support and they said they would replace it with a 160GB Slim, anyways I'm going to do some talking to them and hopefully upgrade to a SuperSlim, I could get a brand new 60GB, but as the PS4 is coming out this year I'm wondering;

How rare is my 60GB because they are now DC'ed?
How much is it worth compared to the other PS3's?
Is it worth getting a complete upgrade to slim or super-slim or shall I stay with a new 60GB?

well, if it is an 100% brand new non revised 60GB console, it might have 3.55 or lower, which in that case are worth a lot of bucks

It will be a Brand new factory PS3 but I think they'll put the latest FW on, I'm not sure.

prolly, but i do not think they make on special for you lol, they probably have some left.... so then the change of 3.55< is higher...
if not you should get a Superslim, as it is the latest and you can sell it if you dont like it...
differences not so much, between phat and slim it is the noise, and super slim, is ehm smaller lol and has more GB's that all i can tell nw
