Depends how much you are willing to spend & how much money you got, if you have enough then i'd say get a jailbroken ps3 1st or better yet both, a jailbroken ps3 & modded controller combo cant be beat. :y:

modded controllers are a waste. easily detectable when using semi autos with rapid fire and just about useless for much else. i would suggest a custom controller. maybe scuf. or just some control freaks. with that being said jailbroken ps3 first.

Depending on how much money you have man, I say just wait for the PS4. Its coming out in 2 months and im sorry but, the PS3s time closing pretty soon imo. With the PS4 right around the corner, its done. Sony will still support the PS3 and all but I think its WAYYY to late to buy a jailbroken PS3 or a modded/custom controller.

not everyone want to buy a $400 buggy ass system that will suck for the first couple of months and that you can't hack on.
I am waiting on the bugs to be fixed, the price to drop, more games to come out, and for jailbreaking code to come out.

Well to answer your question, I'd rather you spend money on a jailbroken PS3, modded controllers aren't really worth the money imo

well after the ps4 comes out the ps3 price will drop quite a bit.
