(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey got my 80gb today . Trying to recover the 60gb ps3 hdd . I heard usin an os on ps3 would help buti want to know is there anything i can to stop my ps3 tryin to format the 60gb

i called sony for advise and i was told by the tech support that the knowledges is resctricted to employs only :P . I was also told you arnt ment to remove the hdd :P

The ps3 uses a file system called NTFS files. I have download the recovery program

but the hddd isnt showing up how to i show it on windows ?

ok found a way unberta linux will be able to revoer the ps3 hdd with the external 1

i bought the 80gb ps3 and replaced it with my 60gb hdd. As i did all the instructions it said now you have to format your ps3 hdd. I hav tried the NFTS file reader but i cant find it please help

oh gawd umm...i read something about this on DONT ADVERTISE forums dont remember if it was a solution to this or sumone asking im pretty sure it was a soulution...

lol dude that was bypassing the firmware check for the ps3 games i need it for a new hdd. My old 60gb ps3 hdd says it needs a new firmware i did that and now it says afterwards formating. I heard usinjg the ps3 swiss army knife os would let me get all my files back , is it true ????

no....i read sumthing about what ur asking...not firmware
