oh !! you problem is hard to fix but i don't think when you click new game you must start from the Beginning there is no Load game or anything by the way i complete the game :p

I was on the prison part, then I restarted my ps3, accidentally clicked new game and I don't see any option to continue

ok when you click new game why you don't press start and quit to main menu i think if you did that you will start from the prison part by the way it just a game

I don't think you can go back to where you were earlier in the game. You can try turning off your PS3 and booting up Watch_Dogs and hoping that it hasn't saved but that's about it.
