Resistance 2 Online Multiplayer Weapons
So far, only a handful of weapons from Resistance 2's multiplayer have been showcased, but that's more than enough to get our teeth sunk into. There have been some major modifications to some of the weapons, and some new ones have also been announced. Some have also been removed completely, like the XR-005 Hailstorm and XR-003 Sapper, which will not be making a return. Below is a list of all the weapons currently announced for the Resistance 2 Multiplayer:
M5A2 Carbine

Easily the most recognisable weapon in the Resistance: Fall of Man arsenal, the M5A2 Carbine makes a return in Resistance 2. It seems as though it's fundamentally the same in both looks and functionality.
Rossmore 236

Definitely an acquired taste in Resistance: Fall of Man, the Rossmore 236 was probably one of the more under-used weapons. However, it's returning in Resistance 2 with a slightly new look. It has a more colourful feel, and a new cross-hair, which can be seen on the right-hand side.
L23 Fareye

The L23 Fareye looks much the same, but there are two minor differences. Previously when not in scope, there was a very large cross-hair, now there doesn't appear to be one. The scope has also changed. The right-hand screenshot shows the new scope, which is a full-screen view instead of one that is circular in form.
Chaingun

The Chaingun is a completely new weapon for Resistance 2. It is essentially a minigun, but it has some interesting other features. It has a very very fast rate of fire, and when aiming, it appears to be exceedingly accurate, although movement speed is heavily decreased. The secondary fire (which hasn't been seen yet), apparently makes the user stationary, but gives them a shield from the front.
Bullseye

In Resistance: Fall of Man, the Bullseye was the generic weapon used by the Chimeran foot-soldiers. It returns to the multiplayer of Resistance 2 with a very different look. However, it still appears to function exactly the same and it still has the extremely fast rate of fire. The reticle this time appears to be much bigger, highlighting the Bullseye's poor accuracy.
Auger

The Auger has been considerable changed for Resistance 2 and it looks like it will pose a more considerable threat this time around. Its rate of fire has been increased and it now has a new ability which will drammatically increase its effectiveness. When aiming, it now has the ability to see through walls (see screenshot on the right-hand side).
Marksman

The Marksman is another weapon which makes its debut in Resistance 2. It is a sniper rifle, but unlike the L23 Fareye, it has a more rapid rate of fire. It can also be used without scoping quite effectively. It looks like it will take a few shots to the head to take someone down though, unlike the L23 Fareye, which is an instant kill.
Frag Grenade

The Frag Grenade makes an unsurprising return in Resistance 2. It appears to be near identical to that of Resistance 2 except for the fact that it flies through the air slower. The blast radius appears to be slightly larger than in Resistance: Fall of Man and Target Bombing still looks to be a possibility.
Above are screenshots of the Frag grenade being thrown, and exploding. The Frag Grenade also appears to have its trademark smoke stream, although in some cases, it appears to stay around for longer.
Hedgehog Grenade

The Hedgehog Grenade makes a return in Resistance 2. From what has been so far, it seems to be identical to the Hedgehog Grenade seen in Resistance: Fall of Man in terms of its usage. However, it does appear to thrown much slower than the previous Hedgehog Grenade.
Above are screenshots of the Hedgehog grenade exploding. On the left-hand screenshot, you can see that the Hedgehog Grenade indicator is also again present.
Air Fuel Grenade

The only confirmation that the Air Fuel Grenade will be returning in Resistance 2 multiplayer is that some of the players had it in the ammo slot. No footage has been seen of it in use though.
The Air Fuel Grenade will probably not change too much though, and it will more than likely still function in the same way as Resistance: Fall of Man.
I no this isnt all the weapons but when I get pictures I will post them up , also some of the pictures are hard to see the full gun ill put up better images soon.
