(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Basically I spilt a cup of water on my PS3 and PC. So after reading about it appears I need to dry them. Because I'll get bored otherwise, I turned them both on.
- PC works perfectly now, so YAY! lol
- PS3 turns on, then my controller can't connect. Via USB or Bluetooth, it just won't happen(was perfect before spillage). Also it can randomly make an insane amount of noise compared to usual, which has made me instinctively turn it off for safety reasons.
So, what should I do from here?? Here are the options:
- Leave it to dry for a few days on the windowsill with the radiator on.
- Pay Sony $150 and wait weeks for it to come back
- Take it apart and identify the problem(I suck at this stuff, so I'll only do this if I have to do the following)...
- Buy a new PS3 - my Mum is just the best XD

What should I do?

Well when I spilt water on my Phone , I put it in a bag of Rice and it dryed perfectly!
But this mightn't be the case with a PS3
Get a fan or hairdryer and run around the Ps3 with it ,
Especially the usb slot (incase the bluetooth won't work on controllers)
Then leave for 1-2 days
Tell me what happens then.

Because I'm impatient I just turned it on, to find that loud noise again but only for a second... Now everything seems to work, just put an old disc in(FIFA 0 and nothing went wrong, so here goes MW2!! XD

i would try it out and see what happens. but don't put it to close to the heater as the components MIGHT melt or brake. if nothing happens ask your lendary mum to buy another.

Anyway everything works perfectly now xD

You really should of let it dry out comletely before turning it on, you might have fried some of the componets which means you would need to get a new PS3. Try to completely dry it out though first and see if it makes a difference.

check to see when your warranty on your ps3. I have a 3 year with target where they take it back no questions asked and give me a new one. If it works then you should be fine.

Ask your mom lol if shes the best

If you ever run into the ps3 controller not connecting problem, you either need to:
1.) Press the reset button on the back of the controller (use a needle or tooth pick)
2.) charge the controller.
