so first as i was looking around the internet for cheap ways to wire my ps3 to my computer or something similar to record in hd without spending $200 to $250

i stumbled upon a device called the hd fury$100 - $200 and that looked good. with a few cables i can hook to pc and record in 1080.(pic below)

but still a little expensive for me and it seems to be a female dvi to female vga peice.

i was wondering if i could just use a female dvi to female vga peice again pic below.

also is the hdfury even good at all

Well you can but you have to have the proper supplies. I suggest just buying a cheap capture card just look around for one, they are cheap in most places. When I bought mine I got it for $150. So back on topic if you have the proper wires for it than it will work. Just ask around at bestbuy or future shop for the wires, ask someone like a store employee.

cool i can get the wires and itl cost under $50 cheap compared to $150

i aint got much cash so whatever i can do to lower that price is good

All I know, is if that will record in 1080p you more then likely will have the best quality game vids on youtube ^
