Is there a way to install a disk to the HD on PS3 without doing anything drastic? Or is this just a feature that is on 360?

ps3 games all install to the hard drive because of the size of the file so th egame will run fast. Its like mgs4 the file size is huge if you didnt install to the harddrive loading times would be long. I suggest going in to gamedata utility and deleteing the file of the game. go back on the game and reinstall or what ever. if still doesnt work could be something to do with the disc.

Well when I started it up for the first time, i had to do 3 updates,
1.PS3 system update 3.01
2.Install game to hard drive-Had the two lines near top and bottom, black backround with a swirly xmb like backround(default one) but it got thinner and thinner and ended, if you get what i mean
3. mw2 patch 1.01
