I need help with an issue.
Im going to be upgrading to the PS3 Slim this week but i have many gamesaves on the older PS3 that are copyright protected. A system back up wouldn't work nor the transfer utility that recently came out. I have a hard drive enclosure that allows me to insert a hard drive and connect it thru usb on the PC. Is there a way for example to connect the PS3 hard drive to the PC and manually copy and save it onto a new one? I heard Norton Ghost might do the trick. Any ideas?
Didn't know whether to post this in PS3 or Computers so please move to its correct place if needed.
^ what he said and cant you just use your external harddrive to transfer your game saves from one ps3 to another, i realize you said their copywrited but if your going to log on as the same user on the new slim ps3 i would GUESS it shouldnt matter right?
I don't think you can transfer the gamesaves over... I bought a slim when it came out and I was reading up on that. I will try and find the link that I read that. I didn't end up transferring the stuff over. not worth it
