Speaking during an interview with MCVUK.com, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) President David Reeves again confirmed that PlayStation Home is on track, with the open beta scheduled to launch this fall alongside strong support from third party companies.

"It’s completely on track," said Reeves. "The closed beta has just ended and the open beta will launch in Autumn."

No specific date has been announced for the open beta; however, Reeves noted that there will be significant third party backing for the online service upon release.

"Now when that will be announced, I’m not actually sure...but it’s all on track and we have lots of third parties on board," said Reeves.
