Edit - From what I can tell, you're able to find the Custom Character section but locating actual names or stats is difficult.

If you search for Custom Character Ace Points and EXP you can max those out. Those are the easiest values to edit.

Unit XP is tricky. You can't max it otherwise it defaults to -1 and the unit gains less experience.

Could you help with directions on what to do to search for Custom Character Exp? I have the Custom Character show up in ASCII on 00064060, but I have no idea what to do next.

The easiest thing to find is Ace Points and Exp. If you have 100 exp/Ace points, you can search for that in Advanced Mode.
