Iam on 5.05 and sonce a couple days i i have the error CE-33116-4. I never had the error be4 and in the internet isnt anything interesting.

I cant copy any savegames from or to the usb.

I can install .pkgs with the usbs so its no port failure. I used multiple usbs and external hdds and i formated them...

I've rebuild the database multiple times (ca. 20 - 30 times) and nothing helps...

I cant just reinstall the system because there are some accounts, i never know the data and i cant use the savegames after reinstalling the system (no account id, it has to be online at least one time)

I had this problem before delete the entire user on your usb stick on your pc and tranfer 1 save back (so it will recreate the user) and it will work.

It would be interesting to know, if the accounts with written account ids will be on the backup too or not...

I could make a backup, format the ps4's hdd and reinstall 5.05 and install the backup...

You deleted the entire user ? Like the folder ?

I formated the whole usb

I've installed the update again and same error

As i've rebuild my database, i lost games...

Maybe because they where on a external hdd...

Maybe the usb has a format that doesnt work on the ps4
