I will be updating this on a daily basis (assuming its not locked or deleted). I did decide to post the thread in this section because its where these questions are being asked the most, despite NGU having a Question section for threads.

Q: What is "PS4 Xploder Cheat System"?


Contrary to what was believed when the device was first revealed alongside with Cyber Editer, Xploder Cheat system is Save Resigner application. This means that you'll be able to take any gamesaves and resign it to a profile of your choosing. It is a server base subscription app meaning you will need internet connection along with a subscription in order to use the device.

Q: Whats the difference between Xplodercheats and CyberGadget Save Editor?

As stated above the Xploder app only allows you to resign gamesaves, whereas Cybergadget doesn't, but it allows you to edit and apply cheat codes such as max EXP, max Money, ect. CyberGadget, however is Japan exclusive and won't work anywhere else.


Q: How much is the subscription?


No pricing has officially been announced, but as it stands if you buy the Pre-order Beta version it'll be a lifetime supply subscription, otherwise if its to be based off any of their other products available it'll be the same price as the product itself after the first year.



Q: When will it release?



As of right now we don't know when the full release will happen. All we know is that the beta is set to launch sometimes this month.




Q: Will this have an advance editor mode, or allow us to apply cheats?



The answer is no, like in the previous question this is only a save resigner. Knowing Xplodercheats this mode will be available at a later date for a different edition (Premium, Ultimate, ect). It was also hinted in a few of their tweets.

Q: Can we hex edit our gamesaves and then resign them to ourselves?



While there's no confirmation of this yet Xploder did state that it won't be possible directly from their application. THIS indicatES That a user can very well edit the saves themselves using hex programs.

Q: Will Cheats Become Available?


Only through the means of either hex editing, or a gamesave has already been uploaded with said cheats. Example of this, GTA5 edited save to allow all guns, ammo, and unlimited health.

Q: Will this work on "X" game?


The device should work on every game available as all it is is a save resigner.This does not mean that every game will have available save data VIA server side.


Q: Do we have to use the saves only available server side? Can we use ones that are already available on the internet such as the ones in You must login or register to view this content.?


Yes you can use ANY gamesaves available just as long as they have all the required files packaged with them.



Q: Do I need a modified/hacked PS4 to use this?


No, it will work on stocked consoles



Q: Do I need to be on a specific firmware? I Updated to 4.50 (The latest as of 4/5/17), will this still work?


You don't need to be on a specific firmware, it does work with the current (4.50) firmware. However, when Sony releases a new update you may want to hold from updating as there is no doubt that they will try to patch this up just like they attempt to patch the CyberGadget save editor (works with current firmware now). If you want to turn off automatically download and installs from the PS4, visit System settings in the setting menu on the PS4.



Q: Will it support Asia, Europe, Japan, United States and other Regions?

Currently, when the beta launches it will only be for Europe/UK. Sometimes either at launch or soon after it'll support all regions.



Q: Can we earn trophies using this?


Yes you can, depending on the game some will unlock instantly upon loading the gamesave, others will require you to perform some sort of actions, and some will be needed before you acquire it, such as a save for 99 out of 100 collectibles.



Q: Can this be cracked?

I couldn't truly answer this question, but considering its most likely like cyber editor, then no as it is a server base app.

When it comes out, sure why not. I don't think they have any plans though for it to come stateside as they have said as of now they don't (unless thats changed). That, and I don't believe they have anyone who can actually translate it for them. They seem to be a japanese company only and focusing on just that market alone. Plus, that thing is plague with issues.

They also patched the region workaround, either because of server load, which tells you how unprepared they are, or they just dont want to support it.

Their support in general is lacking and gonna be tough because of that language barrier they have, I wouldn't count on them TBH, there will be plenty of people hex editing gamesaves with tutorials

You are better off waiting for Game Genie (even though they arent working on one) IMO than Cyber, its mroe than likely with the scene opening up further with a 4.07 exploit, we will most likely get a free version in the future that hopefully isnt' far away
