(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The Xbox One event has just wrapped up in Redmond, and we’ll have a full round up in a bit. However, following the conference You must login or register to view this content., while You must login or register to view this content., which doesn’t really look like the reaction Microsoft were hoping for.

This change could be an indication that investors think that Sony have the upper hand in the build up to the launch of the next generation of both company’s hardware and were disappointed by what Microsoft had to show of the Xbox One. While Microsoft have shown that the Xbox One is a technically impressive machine, their lack of focus on games may be dissuading investors, as well as their media centric approach today.

Of course this reaction could all switch by the time E3 rolls round, where both companies will be doing their utmost to impress.

Well that just says it all!

I think they over hyped their console too much, I haven't heard one good response from anyone. Time will tell though.

The only people who are still intent on getting the Xbox Juan are just fanboys at this point... I mean just look what's on the table;

PS4:

4K movies,
Focused on GAMING,
No gimmicky features that overpower the focus on core GAMING,
Social interactivity,
We've seen in-game footage without even seeing the console,
The controller actually looks handle-able,
Don't have to look like a mime and yell at the TV just because you're too lazy to use a controller...

Xbox Juan:

Shiny black box that's reminiscent of a Cable box,
TELEVISION features with a wide variety of TELEVISION channels to watch on your TELEVISION which is most likely 95% US TELEVISION,
Copy-cat Blu-Ray,
A camera that's looking at you... all the time,
Cute, but pointless, motion controls.

Sony has the next-generation wrapped up nicely.

im not going to lie, but xbox has some pretty nice ideas. but in this stage of my life i don't need the type of product they are trying to push to the market. plus its a waste of money that i dont have. im not lazy, i can take 1 second to push a button on my controller to switch to tv..... and i dont even watch live tv. who really does in this day and age, we all dvr that shit to skip past the bullshit commercials.

im pretty sure specs are very close for both consoles so im not concerned which is better between the two, im concerned with which company has me as a gamer in the front, back and sides of their minds. Sony knows their past mistakes and has dedicated this console to hardcore gaming and gamers with the after thought of social media things. i had to go back to watch their conference after Xbox's. what a difference between the two.
the nail in the coffin for me was; wasn't said during the live event.... which was about used games and all the rumors. they waited till after the event to address them. i could of gave two shits less about what their console looked like. i as long as everyone else guesses correctly..... black in the shape of a box, had a controller and a separate box to hold the camera. wow, really? thats what the big deal is? what it looks like? reminds me of a 2 year old at Christmas, opens the presents and just wants to see the box the toys came in.

i alone wont buy this console just because of the used games needing a pass. over the past 30 years borrowing a friends game and Vice-versa is in our culture, its what gamers have always done. we are living in the last generation of disc games, everything is going to be digital very soon and Xbox is jumping the gun and taking what very few years we have left of our own physical copies and saying no no, we want money if you borrow it from a friend. they could of at least gave us some respect by letting us ride out the 2-4 years left before digital dl is all we have. if Sony is smart they will not employ this feature in their console. they haven't addressed this issue either, all they said is they wont ban used games. Xbox said the same thing and technically they didn't lie.

Microsoft stocks are still dropping which is a bad sign. I'd like to see how this progresses before making assumptions.
