Here’s a new Conversations with Creators video with Guerrilla Games talking about how easy it is to make games on PS4. An interesting fact mentioned is that you only need the menu and first level to start playing.

You’re going to download a chunk of the game, you get the menu and the first level and while you’re playing the first level it downloads the second level in the background”. Sounds like the background chips going to be a great little idea.

Secondary chip for downloads, brilliant idea! I read that you can download system updates in the background too. They sound like they're doing a good job on this console, I can't wait.

i think anything that can be downloaded can be done in the background now as it runs on different memory and doesnt interupt things like ps3

Sony appears to be fixing all the mistakes from the PS3.
Like what I seen so far off Sony.

It would be really cool if you could choose how much bandwidth you want to give it in the background like really low bw so you could still play games and download it.

100% agree, you can't always bring something completely new to the table so making improvements to existing features is great.

I really need to start putting some pennies aside because I want this console as soon as it's out.
