I was wondering you have a banned PSN account on the PS3 would it be banned on the PS4 as well? Sorry if this has already been posted.

I'm not sure if this information has been released yet, I would imagine that it wouldn't be. I say this thinking, although you can easily create a new account, it's a potential sale / customer to be lost.

On the flip side, they may want to teach people a lesson to deter them (and others) from rule breaking.

EDIT: Thinking about it more, if you are banned from the servers then you will most likely still be.
