The official word from Sony remains only that the PS4 will be in UK stores 'this year'. That means it will be launched in time for the run up to Christmas, so we'd expect a late October/early November release at the latest.

Retailers agree, it seems. According to Official PlayStation Magazine two European retailers are promising a PS4 release date of 13 November. Media Markt and Bol.com both quote the date, says the story, while another source says budgetgaming.nl received Sony promo material saying the same. Even if this is true it doesn't mean that the UK date will be the same, of course. And when retailers know a product is coming they are perfectly happy to guess a launch date. But expect to see the PlayStation 4 in UK stores by November.

alot of different sites etc have said this, until we have the official word its all just speculation

Of course it's speculation but when 3 major retailers come out and all label the same date then there is reason to believe it will be a November 13th release.

theyre probably just all follwoing eachother round in circles everyone wants to be the one to predict the date.

ill just hope its oct/nov or atleast this year for the uk
