(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); GAMEPLAY +World'Maps'Characters'Cars'Tracks'Mods'Options=30/50fps,No DLC,100% Finnish,etc.

GRAPHICS Real World,more Time for Real Life,Less is More,Falling Towers,DLC added later,etc.

BOTH Compromise,Leads to bugs,Longer Alpha Stage,+Testing,-50% Gameplay/Graphics,etc.

There are really old games that look eye cancer inducing by the standards of today that I will still get my hands on once a year because they are just great in terms of gameplay. I tried doing the same thing with Call of Duty 2, because I had decent memories. I was proven wrong. Couldn't take it longer than half an hour.

Planescape torment though ... my current save file is 80 hours into the game. For the 5th time in about 10 years.

Definitely gameplay. And if they have enough cash to boot for a AAA title, then both. But gameplay comes first.

I voted both. You won't play a game in PS4 that has PS2 graphics, just no. You will play it in PC if you want, but not on PS4.
Gameplay is the most important thing I believe, but MUST be accompanied by high quality graphics as the PS4 can offer. I'm not saying they should take the PS4 full power, but with the last years PS3 graphics is OK.
I wonder, if at the first years PS3 graphics were good, but not at the full potential of it, and now the same happens with the PS4, what kind of graphics we will be able to see in its later years. They are awesome by now, I believe they will be mind blowing, but that is out of topic hehe.

Half the game is how it looks.

I voted for graphics.

And don't give me that, do you remember how bad graphics were on ps1, ps2, etc, etc.

Back then, those graphics were the sh*t, now we have new graphics that are the sh*t. Graphics make the game.

Not True
Gaming code come 1st then how it looks comes Last, but nowadays games are never finish 100%
They release them as early as possible about when pre-order's fall/slow, just like the stock market its time to $ell$ell$ell, so then they bump up Graphics & clean the code en' chuck it out for release then mill$ roll in with a game not finish 100% Gamers don't know that info and think 2012 games were great even thou they play under modified 2010/11 level of Code-work.

Graphics AA' FPS' Draw distance' Image rendering' take up less than 25% of the Game, but needs around 75% Memory.
Gameplay Pad feedback, Spawning, code, takes up about 60% game around 15% Memory.
Sound/MISC take about 25%+ of game and about -50% of Memory.
So thats a overload of... Game 10-50% Depends on Blu-ray,DVD,HDD load Speed/Size and Machine Memory, example' most DLC they keep of the disc at release date was out of Greed, they could simply add it as a extra folder/file if they have no time code it in for release. "PS3 HEAVY RAIN: Move edition is a perfect example"

+No Company has ever use all the full space of a blu-ray:(the sign that DISC are out Download is in for the benifit of company.
!!!a few games use 25GB but mostly for file size making the game look better!!!
+Side to more Data should be more GAME equals more PLAYWinky Winky
So with PS4/XB1 no game will go over 25GB "maybe" but 50-100GB is were they should be but sadly it wont happen' because if this Generations of gaming proved to the Company's that just keep the Hardcore gamers happy but the Kids/Family is were the most return profit is at +they dont know there GB from GPU or PSN to SENWinky Winky

Want a GAME? choose LIFE its free has realistic graphics and .001 responsiveness...
Not a Second LIFE that co$t has bad graphics and Mov^<>XXO+¥$?!t...

Populo In fun Vitae.

Even thou i picked GAMEPLAY i would not enjoy the GAME or PLAY it, if the GRAPHICS are unbearable' that's why i added BOTH as a Option & why BOTH is Winning is because BOTH is the best a GAME can ever get, then you will need a new Console/PC Graphics Card, the best GAMES are always the last of the Console,
So GTA:V is better than any PS4 GAME out in 2014.

"That's technically speaking because everyone has there own view does not deny the optimum one from being what it is!?"
For example the color RED is #1 compare to #2BLUE
thou someone likes #2BLUE over #1RED
that doesn't mean the person can think BLUE is #1

In the end' All the GAME PLAYER needs is...
#1Great/Gameplay#2Good/Sound&MISC#3Good/Graphics=Great Video Game. the best of BOTH.
"Games made only for One Console,Game series made only when there's a technical leap, every 4+ years"
Not
#1Great/Graphics#2Good/Sound&MISC#3Good/Gameplay=Good Video Game. also the best of BOTH.
"Games that come every 2-4 years"
Or
#1Good/Gameplay#2Good/Sound&MISC#3Normal/Graphics=Normal Video Game. this is GAMEPLAY.
"Annual Games, every year"
& last
#1Good/Graphics#2Good/Sound&MISC#3Normal/Gameplay=Normal/Bad Video Game. this is GRAPHICS.
"Games made in less than 6 months,Movie games,Low budget Games"

It's whats MORE important? and LESS important?!

Obviously would be great to have both but gameplay imo is more important to me
