i think its world wide. They have not made a lot of ps4 consoles and even if they have they where sold out straight away. They are making more as the days go along but, i have not ordered one because as they release it they will try make a better version with better stuff in it, such as new shape new everything just like the ps3 they will make it slimmer. So just wait it out some months just keep playing ur current console and get a better version of ps4

In Australia, its all run out. They are putting more on sale after the date of the PS4 Release. It is more better and more cheaper. I suggest buying it on the day when i comes out It saves you money and the hassle of waiting Just like what Lord Anish said.

US is sold out.
Some UK stores are sold out.
Not sure on any other areas need to check with your local stores.

How much slimmer can it get? Unless they can shrink it down to the slim ps2 size.

In Florida, they are not sold out lol still have 300 units at walmart :p

BMX is telling the true here. The "Slim" is just that an Slim model but it is not a better console technically because they can't update the RAM, GPU or anything because then they will have to make a different version of every game for that model of console. And if you think the Slim PS3 is better than the original PS3, I still have and use my original 80GBs PS3 no Yellow Light or anything and I can play PS1/PS2 games from the disc.

The PS4 is going fast. The first I heard of all the 'sell-outs' was in the US, it started hitting some UK stores and Amazon US/UK. Some websites, big and small are being hit by this too; last I heard, even some of my local stores are fresh out of PS4s. :p

I don't think they're sold out every where in the U.S about 3 days ago I preordered mine from Best Buy.
