(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I have a SDTV I use all my game systems on, so I was wondering if the PS4 would work on it? Or if it just went HD. Because if it did i'd have move my setup somewhere else.

If you're playing on an SDTV, there is no point going next gen. SDTV's are terrible -.-''

Nope, PS4 only supports HDMI :p

you can by using one of them SD to HDMI cables, it may lack true hd quality though but who knows.

personally though, SD... even getting a budget low costing HDMI tv you will see a massive increase in picture quality. gimmicky features like wifi, 3d, smart tv and freeview. stuff like that you dont need tbh

try get a bog standard hdmi v and you will save a shed load of money without them features.

HDMI connection from the looks.
I think you could use a convertor to make it work on an SDTV.

My SDTV has been pretty good with quality picture. Barely to no pixels at all.

Considering that hardly any console game runs natively at 1080p, you aren't missing too much unless you are still on those really old TV's that are 480i. If that is in fact what you have you should probably go out and grab a flat screen.
