Also wondering if ps4 will allow anything other symbols besides numbers, - and _ in the PSN name that only ps3 allows.

I believe the max right now is 16. Probably will stay the same. And I think that they will have space option (Like xbox) because you can put your real name (First/Last)

I hope they will allow spaces... But can't you just keep your PS3 profile? Or you have to make a new one?

Yes you can transfer your ps3 profile to ps4. Im making new one cause my old name got banned. So start fresh on ps4.

I look at the ps4 interface pictures and found this, Looks like you can maybe use ( or ) symbols in your screen name you make. Something that ps3 didnt have. Under the name Sarah you notice she has ) in the name below.
