(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); During the Tokyo Game Show today, Capcom confirmed that PlayStation 4 exclusive Deep Down will be a free-to-play title.

The news comes via Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida, who wrote on Twitter that an open beta is planned for the title near the launch of PlayStation 4 in Japan in February of next year.

Deep Down is a dungeon crawler that Capcom originally announced back in February alongside the reveal of PlayStation 4.

Increase in free to play model has me a little worried but still curious how they plan on doing this.

I'm really disappointed by this to be honest, I feel like this game will be a failure simply because it's free to play. Which is a shame because it looks pretty awesome and unique but looking at Capcom's track record of free to play games makes me worried.

Yea Capcom's record on free to play is worrying.
Hope they can come up with a great game which is not paid to win but serious doubts.

I want to have that game, i think it can be a good game for the start of the ps4
