(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi I'm new to this website

So... Hello all!

I've been reading around about playstation 4 limited stock
Could it not just be a (boost the sales) move.

Sony say they are limited on stock and if preorded late there's a chance it will be Christmas time we will receive our consoles. Many people who wasn't bothered about preordering and was planning on just picking a unit up in store now think there's a very slim chance that won't be possible. So they panic and preorder it making them a guaranteed sale.

So could all this hype about limited stock just be a plan

Sony is a very large company with many very smart employees I'm sure they would not let stock counts be a reason to loss customers (sales) to Xbox.

1: Sony dominated Microsoft this year in preorder sales. There is no reason to 'lie' or use a 'sales boost strategy.'

2: Chances are as of now, you won't get your system before Christmas.

3: When everyone else is crying because they 'wanted to wait until Sony fixed their bugs on the new system' I'll be laughing because this is 2013. This isn't a Windows Vista or Windows XP tech-year/years. Technology has improved beyond anyones expectations, and when the first intital consoles are hardware-bug-free, it'll be hillarious to watch all of the kids cry because their parents couldn't pull for one for Christmas.

In the end, the ones who did stick by it, and preorder the mother f*****, we'll be high and mighty, and as a bunch of soldiers we'll say, 'WE FUCKING TOLD YOU SO.'

oh and preorders arent a garantuee sale, you can cancel at anytime. if there was a fee you would lose it so just go with the free preorders obviously

Doubt that if you think you're mad. No company wants to block demand in the case of Sony more consoles means more software means more consoles etc.

I'm in a marketing class at the moment and my teacher thinks that the big companies do that as a marketing strategy. When they hold back supply, people are going to want it more because it's out of their reach. So after a little while, they release maybe 50,000 more in stores and then that stock goes out, so and so on. Although this time I think Sony might actually be falling short on stock at the warehouse.
