PlayStation 4 will not allow users to use external hard drives, according to a Q&A on the PlayStation Blog. Storage on PS4s will be limited to the next-gen machine's 500GB. Even replacing the internal hard drive limits space -- installing another 9.5mm SATA II HDD is possible, but only so long as its space exceeds 160GB.

I had a feeling this would be the case
Sort of sorts for people who use HDDs and want to play the media on their console. Guess you're forced to send it over wireless.
Where are you hearing this from? if this is true then thats some bullshit
I think this is true, i think i heard that it doesnt support Regular CD's, So Music Albums, Etc etc. So you cant even use music you bought if its on a CD. Pretty much forcing people to use their music subscription like you said. Always for more $$$
