Grumpy is God.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My idea is that since Gamestop and I'm sure most other retailers are similar but Gamestop holds preorders for 48 hours after release so if I am correct on Sunday (North America two days after release) at about 10 am when they open if you show up and your like the first one in the door you should be able to pick one up because I'm sure at least one person didn't get their preorder.

So basically take advantage of the 48 hour hold period and be there in the AM at open 2 days after release. Needa

There is also a site available in the UK called ShopTo, I have pre-ordered my system from the (just last week) and I received an e-mail saying my pre-order was successful and my console will be dispatched 2 days before release but will be held at my nearest Depo for the remaining 2 days till the release date Winky Winky

Ive actually called then before because I thought that 48 was too short and they confirmed that they hold it for more than 2 days. It just says that on the receipt.

Then it's false advertising. They can't do something else when something else says something different. :dumb:

What you said was kind of a mind fuck but I know what you mean lol. The problem probably was that people complained that 48 hours was too short, and I'm guessing it costs money to change policies so they just left that on the receipt.

bestbuy says they'll have units for people that didn't pre-order, you would have to camp out though and there will be 2 lines those that pre ordered and the other for people that don't
