(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Every time I plug my PS4 to my elgato, I get no signal at all... I set everything at least to 720p (my monitor only supports 720p and not 1080p). Anyone know how to fix it?

Also, I plugged my headset (Sony headset) and it says device not supported :'(

the elgato wont work because it runs of component and not true hdmi. You'll have to make due with hdmi till they disable HDCP

In other words the elgato is useless till the HDCP is removed

wow that is stupid, I wasted 200$ and not be able to use it on the ps4... I just find it funny though that Sony stated that you can use capture cards like elgato... but whatever

I used to use a HD PVR but since that the PS4 is HDMI only I got an Elgato just for the PS4 and its really disappointing it doesn't work cause of there so called 'HDCP'. I been reading on Twitter a patch is suppose to come out but not until early 2014 =__=

I guess we got to use this built in PS4 recording until then. I just don't get why they didn't add it at the beginning...

I've never seen sony say this, there was a thread months back that said cap cards won't work, hence why I sold mine

I just hope my Astros will work when it releases in the uk

I'm using astro a40's and they work beautifully

Thanks i best tell my brother to get his ones now, he wasn't going to get them as he thought they may not work till a patch
