It may be a new year, but Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony Worldwide Studios and our Person of 2013, is up to his old self on Twitter, replying to a lot of different people who ask him questions, though those answers aren’t as detailed as you’d probably like.

Since he talked about a variety of topics, we’ve compiled the important pieces into bullet point form below:

• The story of the Magma Red and Wave Blue DualShock 4 controllers coming to North America has been a long one, with Shuhei originally saying they’d be coming out very soon after the November 15th PS4 launch, then in December, he couldn’t confirm a new date. Now, someone asked if we might see the colored controllers in Q1 2014, with Shuhei just saying, “I hope so…” Not exactly encouraging words, but we’ll keep you updated on any new developments about a date.

• After receiving many queries about the PS4 being out of stock, Shuhei wants people to “pls be patient,” as they will be restocking the PS4.

• Retailers have given DriveClub a release date from anywhere between February and about April, with PlayStation Japan’s website saying it will be out on February 22nd there, while North America and Europe just have the “early 2014″ window. Well, you’ll still have to wait to know when DriveClub’s coming out as Shuhei said, “We’ll announce it when we are ready to.

• A PS4 firmware update to allow the use of the “PlayStation line of headsets” is expected to go live early this month, but when Shuhei was asked about it, he only replied, “Pulse support will come with the future firmware updates.” He then added, “Sorry for not being specific about timing.” We’ll keep an eye on this and let you know once a date is confirmed.

• Also on the subject of PS4 updates, Shuhei said, “Not yet,” after being asked when the “update for the HDCP thing so we can record” via HDMI would be out."

• Finally, regarding a PS4 patch to stop the PlayStation Camera from broadcasting your voice into in-game audio, Shuhei said, “We hear many people want it.

Sony said earlier this year after 'E3' i think that the way the PS4 'OS'' is made that name changes wouldn't
be possible with the system.

Come on Yosp, Disable HDCP ffs. Xbox One has this disabled and out of all the consoles there is, the PS4 has to have this enabled. Sony needs a knock on the head to realize piracy isn't just on the PS4, it's everywhere.

In Flames Much?
Sort of annoying waiting for some things be patched odd on the controller. Should be easy to make unless they wanted tons of black standards. No hdcp plox
