(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So i got my PS4 and with all the hype behind the improvement of the DualShock 4 to the DualShock 3, i have to say, i definitely prefer the DualShock 3 controller over the 4. I like that it's smaller and lighter and everything feels more natural to me to be completely honest. So here's my idea:

Is it possible to take apart the DualShock4 and put the insides of the DualShock4 into the DualShock3 shell?

They seem to be roughly the same size even though i am yet to measure them. It seems like with a little fabrication, the DualShock3 shell could enclose the DualShock4 system?

Tell me what you think or if you would like to share any knowledge on the matter.

Although I disagree with the fact that you think the DS3 is much better, I like the DS4 much more although thats merely my opinion. Although it would be very difficult if possible at all. They are close to the same size yes, but close isn't enough, it has to be an exact fit. Which just isn't going to happen. Also the DS4 light bar is connected to the charging port and power supply of the controller, like thats all one piece. Which would cause a major problem alone. I would say it's not possible but if you did manage it you would have one cut up shitty looking and feeling controller.

Sir you seem like the only person in this world, who puts their hands on their controller and feel heaviness and like they're actually pressing triggers and can stand going back into the same old small and light ds3? Sony actually took clues from the success of the 360 and did a good thing by making it heavier, you shouldn't be complaining, what's up with your little chicken arms? (kidding).

yes you can do it there is a youtube video on it someplace but it will be alot of work. and plus you will lose alot of the gaming stuff that will be used on the ds4 like the touchpad so good luck on that bro

When I first held the DS4, I thought 'damn this is heavy but comfortable.'
Now I don't notice it anymore. Feels light and glorious.

the only thing i do like about ds3 over the ds4 is the range on the joysticks. It allowed for more precise movements but other than that i prefer ds4 over ds3
