There is some speculation which gives the PS4 Edition a PC like feel and being more free by being mouse like.

Aside from the possibly enhanced controls, it seems that the PS4 version of Minecraft will largely simular to all other versions of the game. Minecraft: PS4 Edition is an expected release during the second quarter of 2014, which would be Apr. 1 until June 30.

It was previously rumored that a summer release was likely, but 4J Studios has not yet discussed a release date or timing for Minecraft: PS4 Edition or Minecraft: Xbox One Edition.

If this information is correct then I think that the PS Vita Edition may also fall at a simular time.

Couldn't agree more! I will just keep on playing it on PC unless they add like servers or something. Gets boring with just your friends and no enemies.

so true it so shit half the time on PS3 we're all fighting who should be host because if you have more then 3/4 people in the lobby then the mics lag like shit! & You would be lucky not to lag out

so for people who already have the ps3 version there is no point in upgrading to the ps4, you think taking this much time on it they would make it good enough for the next gen consoles, way to give people who already own it NO reason to want to upgrade to the ps4 or xbox one version 4J lol..

Why the hell would you buy a PS4 version to play with a mouse and keyboard? That is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. If you're going to play with a mouse and keyboard then just buy it for the PC..you can do a lot more on the PC version anyways.
