The newly appointed Driveclub game director Paul Rustchynsky had to hold back a lot in giving information before today’s reveal, but he can finally speak semi-freely, and he’s been giving some interesting information on You must login or register to view this content.:
We learn that the entire single player campaign of the game can be played with no internet connection whatsoever, and that new cars will be announced gradually until launch. The free PlayStation Plus edition was also unaffected by the delay, and will be released regularly.
Rustchynsky also mentioned that some new cars were already included in today’s trailer, so you can check it out and see if you can spot them.
In response to a question on how hard it’ll be to grab the platinum trophy in the game on a scale between 1 and 10 he answerred:
"Good question, I’d say about 5/10. We didn’t want to make it too hard or too grindy that’s for sure."
Finally, he mentioned on You must login or register to view this content. that he’ll post a development update tomorrow on the official PlayStation Blog.
"That’s correct. Keep your eye on the PlayStation Blog tomorrow for more DRIVECLUB details."
One thing is for sure: it’s nice to finally be able to read some actual news about the Evolution’s racer. We missed you, Driveclub.
