As we say goodbye to May, we welcome June and the games it will bring to us courtesy of PlayStation Plus. Starting next month, Sony’s premium service will give away two games for each of their systems: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita for free.
The PlayStation 4 will get Trine 2: Complete Story as well as Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate. The PlayStation 3 will receive NBA 2K14 and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. Finally, the PlayStation Vita will add Terraria and Mutant Mudds Deluxe.
All of the titles will be available to download for their respective systems over the course of June.

Yes, the PS4 gets the shitty free games =D Way to go Sony!
Pixeljunk Shooter isn't a shitty game, in fact its rather fun...not to mention the HFB soundtrack (High Frequency Bandwidth music is fantastic) In fact it's probably one of the few games where you can use your own music and chose not to because the music is that good. HFB consists of Alex Patterson from The Orb btw. Pixeljunk games are anything but shit. The only soundtrack that can even begin to touch the Pixeljunk ones is possibly the music from Shatter. To each his own though
Trine 2 will be an easy platinum if it's like the PS3 one (you didn't even have to complete the game to plat it)

The console isn't out that long, they only give out AAA titles when the sales of that title slow down and not many people are buying it. Hence why ps3 get's so many big games, because there is more to choose from but with ps4 there is only a few big games and they are still selling...
Never really took the time to play Pixeljunk to be completely honest. I might check it out during this next update to PS+. As for Trine, was never much of a trophy collector. I consider myself more of a casual gamer.
Was a bit disappointed with Trine 2 because of the easy platinum. I picked it up for £2 in a sale mainly because of couch co-op.
My personal favourites of the Pixeljunk games are the original Pixeljunk Shooter and Pixeljunk Eden. They have a certain art aesthetic which may not be to everyone's liking and some games have a sharp difficulty curve like Eden. Chances are they will appeal to people who are a bit older, when retro games were not retro but new and had a sharper difficulty curve because analogue sticks weren't invented and was reliant on directional controls hah.
Considering Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate will be "free" well worth checking out. They aren't art games like That Game Company makes though. Pixeljunk is probably my favourite indie dev to make games for PSN. If they still have a demo for Eden, should check it out.
