Climbing up the ladder
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I had an issue with my 32" Sony HDTV where there was a red line that went all the way across the middle of the screen, so I sold that TV and bought a new one. This new TV is a 20" Insignia HDTV (got it free, brand new) and now I get a problem where the gray areas are, it's like very fuzzy and it makes a red-purple color wave, it's hard to explain but that is an issue.

I have all the HD cords going from my Hauppage HD PVR into the back of the TV, could this be the issue? I tried switching the cords to standard definition but the same picture showed up. What are some possible problems?

Thanks!

are there any Magnetic fields around the Tv ?

Like Speakers , subwoofers or anything like that ?

they have a strong effect on both tv and Hdmi Cable !

and check what kinda hdmi cables you have ... best use is 3 layer non-oxigen protected .
