I have 1.03, and region does not matter, i am after the .ff's. I am trying to mod the weapons and strings in cod5, the 1.07 patch only helps so much.

By strings you mean your trying to do .zone editing?

Not trying to burst your buble but i dont think W@W patches any of there weapons so you will not be able to do weapon modding!

Well my research, and help from someone who has knowledge of this, begs to differ. I have found some weapons in the 1.07 patch, i have also found their corresponding offset. However as to working out how to mod it, I've had no luck


Yea, i have Changed a majority of them, however the UI and UI_MP patches are not that bloated with strings of use. And i don't mod the zone lol, i prefer to just use that as a reference and use packzip and offzip to mod the files still lol.

I might release the modded menu names just for a laugh lol. It just makes the whole game look more aestheticly pleasing :-) And as to weapon modding; if you look in the zone or whatever you generate (offzip -a -1 -z -15 patch_mp.ff ./ 0 is how i do it)If you look at the very top of the file, there is a manifest, it lists the contents of the zone. I was just checking though that; I've not actually changed any weapons yet, and i won't release it when/if i do. There are already to many people online using stupid mods (bind infections spring to mind).

I hate people who use binds modded lobbies are fun though as most people get to enjoy the fun, that's why my patch will block all binds on spawn :p.

Yea, i enjoy hosting on private match; but when you go online, i enjoy the pleasure of running my most agrovating functions on anyone who uses cheats lol. Trust me, i have some pretty annoying ones The worst people are the ones who have them as infections and claim to be some form of "1337 h4x0r" and get cocky... Not so 1337 after i DDoS them

Probably 2/3 of the people who say the word 1337 don't even know:
1. What 1337 means (grammar wise).
2. What it is (grammar wise).
3. Who 1337 are (hacking wise).

Could not have put it better myself bro Hence why it bugs me lol XD
