Post: Has hacking made or broke world at war?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This discussion may seem stupid, but what im trying to get across is from a wide perspective.

Hacking can be seen as harmless fun and also to help the less advanced and skilled players but then disadvantage those who wish to play legit and use there skills at the game.

With hacking it has now become common in every lobby to see someone fly across the map, spray the enemy team, call in dogs and end up with a score of 50 to 0 before the host leaves, and for those unskilled players this is an easy way to rank up and seemingly enjoy the game rather than on Modern Warfare where they find themselves with 1 and 30.

So to those hacking its a great deal of fun which leaves others upset and turning to hacking it themselves and ultimately leaving the lobby as everyone cant die and dogs running about after no one.

But for the none hackers who want to take a break for the updated Cods and come back to a game they once loved and enjoyed so much to see it in chaos it has then broke Waw and leaves them no wanting to play it again unless they resort to hacking?

I believe it has broke the game, I was talking with a friend who plays gears of war and he said that he loves it due to the fact he can ask his friend to give him infections and off he goes for the next hour flying about ranking up.

What do you think made or broke the game?

Defiantly broke, every game you go into now has some kid with infection menu or hacks thinking their some sort of 1337 hacker. wat

Waw currently is unplayable.. 90% of games i go into are modded.
And this game has been hacked for a pretty long time... same with cod4.

Activision/treyarch/infinity ward know every previous cod is hacked but yet aren`t doing f*k all about it..

Last time i heard.. robert bowling said "not enough staff" ... of course.. a company worth millions can`t find enough staff :dumb:

/rant over.

I host cls on cod5 and when i go online if someone asks me for rank 65 and unlock all i give it to them, and i rarely use aimbot so it makes it fairer even through its totally not fair and i think it does ruin the game so i dont always cheat i play legit. When i do cheat i make it fun for everyone .

You can't enjoy those games anymore. I tried playing W@W recently and was unable to find a game without somebody flying around. I live in Australia and most of the lobbies I get into are hosted in the United States, making it very difficullt to even have a chance against the people not modding.

Definitely broken it. World at War was a *fantastic* game, it's different from the other Call of Duty's and the best one (in my opinion). It's ruined now and it's not going to be fixed.

Definitely ruined. I tried playing it and almost all lobbies have at least one person with god mode and if it doesn't one will join.

This is a great question and it depends. If the person hacking doesn't blow your screen up with those messages or run around with god mode then it's not to bad. Still annoying but not that bad. Then again if you are the one hacking then it's great cause you can do whatever you want.
