Well the thing where i would start would be..... looking through others patches, just edit out the patch find out how they work, the structure etc. Just edit it for your own educational purposes, after that you can then move onto making your own, use a menu base from anywhere, idk MW2, COD4 or W@W they can be compatible with one and other, depending on certain issues. Anyhow, theres hundreds, then you can use generic codes from patches e.g. god mode, unlimited ammo, all that other crap, after you have done that i would then experiment making your own stuff, be creator, or be uncreative if you want. Make something that has no use, but works. Then move forward.

Thats the advice i can only give to be honest.
