I see that a lot of modded lobbies require you to send them money via PayPal and as a gift(Biggest reason I don't want to pay for one even if someone is trusted) and the reason they do this is to avoid paying the fee that comes with when you treat the payment as service/goods

Now as good as it is to avoid this cost the fee for a modded lobby that would cost you 25 is $1.03 now that's not to bad right? So what Im getting at here is because you cannot dispute ( get your money back) when you send money to a stranger who even though is "verified" or "trusted" can just take your money and you cant do a thing about it.


Ahh here's the fun part time for some math :]

If a lobby cost you $25 and you send it as service/goods you get charged $1.03.
So the person receiving the money get $23.97. <--- Thats not $25
So you would need to send $26.1 in order to make it 25.04 (PayPal has a weird charge rate its impossible to get exactly $25)

Now if your paying $25 for something you can do on your own but are to lazy to (not judging anyone) I'm sure you can pay an extra $1.1 to ensure that what your getting is really what you paid for.


Now don't get me wrong I'm not looking at this from just my point if view. Yes sending as gifts make the transaction a little faster and stupid people who join the lobby get what they want and just dispute the payment but it worth the risk of getting scammed? But it goes both ways here depends on the buyer and the seller.

So my question to not only the people who host these lobbied but the community why don't these "trusted" and "verified by Mr.Dopey guys" make it so you can send the money as service/goods to make them seem more legit? That would ensure a lot more skeptical people like me to pay.
