USB Configuration Tutorial



Ok here is a little tutorial on how to setup your USB device after the 6th April update.

You will need a USB device for this I have used a 2GB but you can use any size you like.

Step 1: Go to my Xbox, system settings

Step 3: Go to USB Storage Device

Step 4: Click configure now

Step 5: Click “Yes” to the message

Step 6: Once complete you will get a message like this

You are now ready to use your USB device. You can save games and profiles to this.

Ok a lot of people have been saying they put data on there USB and opened it and it was empty!

No it isn’t here is a little guide so you can see the files.

Step 3: Click on view, Then show hidden files and folder and check the box then apply.

Step 4: Open your USB now there’s the folder Xbox 360, Click on it

Step 5: Here are your Xbox saves

Hope this helps all the people who were stuck and didnt know what to do and also Happy Modding!

Suppose this is nice for people who dont no, but i thought this was just common sense?

Instead of going to control panel and making it so you can see ALL hidden files you can just put * in the search box when you have opened the usb and the it shows data 01.......

You can also go to file, folder options and do it there.

Thats just the way i do it lol...XD

It's certainly useful for those that don't have their hidden files shown at all times, but I personally do already.

oh my god thank you now I understand how to see my files on the USB drive when I didnt see the file I thought it was currpeted :3 Then I woulda been pissed :3 Thanks Reaper this is why ur awsome +Reped

good post i dont own a xbox 360 but if i did i would do this but i would probz figure this myself
