Climbing up the ladder
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have the new Xbox 360 Slim 4GB, and I am looking to add a HDD to it. I know I can take the old Xbox 360 HDD out of their case and put it in mine, but I am looking to buy a HDD and use this method: You must login or register to view this content..

There is just one problem I am worried about the HDD that it mentions isnt sold anymore.
I am wondering if I can use a different hard drive.

The model number for the HDD that isnt sold anymore is WDGWD1200BEVS and the one that is sold is Blue WD1200BEVT.

I believe the only difference between HDD is the new one is 3.0Gb/s and the old one was 1.5Gb/s.

I dont really want to spend $130(I think) for the Xbox 360 Slim 250GB HDD.

Or does anyone know if I can use a 250GB HDD.

The reason I want a HDD is because Halo Reach wont let me record games unless I have a HDD. I tried using a 16GB USB drive but it still said it had no hard drive. So I believe it has to be actually plugged in where the HDD would be.
