Don't get it straight from the Xbox corporation.
Because when you fill out the form it asks you what the serial number on your xbox is and then the serial number on your new Xbox console.
So I would get it off of eBay to avoid that whole problem and to save you over $100 :]

Hope this helps!

hmm i have no idea why you told me this, basically you told me to waste some money instead of saving it on a transfer cable

Anyway what i did was ring up support umber from xbox.xom asked for an agent and said i have recentley brought 120gb hard drvie and want to transfer my content from my 20gb hard drive to my new one, they asked if i had two xboxes and i said no just the one, have my details including serial number and they said thanks we will send you one and gave me a reference number. Awesome face

msnhockey
Bounty hunter
i got my off ebay due to the fact that xbox won't have my serial # and if i ever want to due hacks and so on it will make it harder for them.

If you plan on just switching the content over to the 120 then go with xbox. I got mine for 14.00 off ebay
