If you have a Sata to USB cable and windows you can format your computer to the Xbox 360 Format.

Ideally you would want to use the case from your old hard drive so your drive can sit in properly..

You can buy a case.. If you already have a 360 slim or Fat hdd enclosure (case) you can fit the hdd in there,
