I've had a PS3 for the past three years,
and quite frankly im sick of it....
does anyone know if i could get a Xbox 360 from around 100 dollars for the console, cords and a controller? and if possible a HDD but no nessecary,
basically to sum it up,
i need to find an Xbox 360 for 100 dollars.

You can get a 360 arcade (w/o a harddrive) on ebay for $100-$150.
A used 20gb hard drive shouldnt run anymore than $20-$30.
So at the max you would have $180 in it but you can get one cheaper if you look around on ebay.

how much would i be looking at for a cheap xbox live set up?

Xbox+HD+Live subscription.

Cheapest xbox ive seen on ebay ($80 buy it now option) but its only the console

buy a "broken" one from ebay, from someone who knows nothing and thinks it broken when its just not plugged in kinda thing...iv done that a few time...
