(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I already have a PS3 and a wii, so I might as well buy a 360. Walmart has this deal where it's $200 dollars, and you get an xbox arcade, one game, and a year of gold live membership. The arcade doesn't come with a hard drive right?

That's a great deal. You can purchase the hard drive later, they're not too expensive.

if u buy the old xbox u need to buy an extra wlan adapter

Wireless sucks balls anyway, all he needs is just use an ethernet cable and he's good to go.

EDIT:

theres a xbox option arcade version with 2 free games (viva pinata and some other crap) and a 50 dollar gift card for 149!

Damn $200 AND a year of free XBL? Thats like a steal man sorta wish it was the elite though. But really the only difference with the new Xbox (slim) is that it has built in wi-fi and its smaller.

I would go with the Walmart deal $149 with a $50 gift card. Pretty much like paying $99 for the Xbox. I'm sure the game you'll get is a ridiculous one that you will never play. Plus you can buy the 12 months of live for pretty cheap online.
