(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay so I have some really annoying problems with my xbox live connection, at least I'm thinking that's what the problem is.

On MW2, I used to find like 30 potential matches at a time and get in almost instantly, but now I find 1 or 2, and it takes a good 5 minutes + to actually get in a match. Even though there is 50K+ people playing on the TDM playlist. And when I get the match I always have a 1/2 bar connection, never above a 3. And on CoD 4 I'm always getting into match with 1 or 2 matched players, and that's 85% of the time, and also a 2/3 bar most of the time.

Nothing has change with my internet, I actually used to pull host. I use an ethernet cord, not the wireless adapter. Is there any way I can speed up my connection? Or does anyone have an idea why my speed is not up to par anymore? If I'm in the wrong section please move me:p.

You're sure absolutely NOTHING has changed whatsoever with your internet/console?

Have you tried running an Internet Test? that might help you find out what your internet speed.

Also, when you go onto the Multiplayer Menu in MW2, what is your NAT? is it open, medium, or closed? and, if it is medium or strict, was it open before?

Having a medium/strict NAT will make you not able to connect to people as easily, and will only allow you to connect to people with good connections.

An open NAT Will allow you to connect to more people.

Yeah, at least nothing that I know of. We've had the same internet, and the same amount of computers being used as always.

I have ran an internet test it's only like 3 MB on wireless, I'm not sure if it's faster when you have it hardwired.

My NAT type says Open, It used to be strict, and I managed to change it to open, but I still can't connect to the people I wasn't able to connect to before. But it was open when I was getting into matches instantly, and it still says it is.

hmm that is very odd.

I would try switching to a wireless connection or a wired if you use wireless and see if that makes a difference.

I use a wired connection. Always have. I'm very tired of the length of time it takes to find matches, especially when you rage quit every time you see you have a 2 bar connection!

Who dares, wins.
Try running a Test Xbox Live connection. I've had that problem once and after running that it was fine.
